Today provided both the vet and I some surprising results. X-rays were taken of Siegfried, Slim and Buddy's front feet and hocks. Both Siegfried and Slim are suffering from severe high and low ring-bone in both front feet, and Buddy has a bone chip in the fetlock of the left front leg! Having this diagnostic information will help tremendously in what supplements I choose to manage these sweet boys with!

My specialist vet from TN Equine will be here on 4/11 to take x-rays of Siegfried, Buddy and Slim's feet and hocks. Right now Slim's sheath is very swollen, Mary has come up lame, and Siegfried is not moving any better :( So this will likely be an expensive vet bill!

From time to time, a very special horse catches my eye, and I adopt them and bring them to FHF to receive the best of care.
